About me
Having grown up in North Carolina and South Florida, and having had many opportunities to travel internationally, I have developed passions for art, travel, languages and most of all, people. I graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL in May of 2016 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Spanish. My schooling in the Communication discipline as well as in Art History, Spanish, Italian, and a semester spent in Rome, Italy allowed me to further explore my passions.
My Senior year at Rollins, I was elected President of Communiqué, a division of PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America.) During my presidency, I aimed to increase membership, establish leadership for the fall, and bring dynamic, engaging professionals to campus to educate students and faculty on the Public Relations field.
I was a proud and active member of Kappa Delta Sorority during which time I held various leadership positions. These responsibilities include Slate Committee, where I interviewed and appointed a new leadership council. Budget Committee, where I allocated funds to various branches of the organization. Standards Board, where I evaluated instances of infractions committed by the chapter as well as provided mentoring and suggestions for preventative measures to be taken. PACE chair, which reiterated to members the importance of maintaining a strong personal presence, hosting various chapter wide events where I facilitated discussions on ways we can all strengthen our personal presence.
My interests include continuing to grow my knowledge of Spanish and Italian as well as learning Portuguese, traveling, studying art, playing tennis and attempting to get one step closer to becoming a "fashionista".
